About me

My fondest memories of football were always the Super Bowl games. No one in the house watched football during the regular season except my dad. But during a Super Bowl game everyone watched with snacks close by. It was the tradition in our family to cheer for the opposing team from my father’s pick. Super Bowl was filled with tons of snacks, laughing, yelling, and of course trashing talking. In those days, I didn’t even have to watch the entire season to enjoy the game. Overtime I started paying more attention and realize all that happens before the final face off.

My love for football didn't begin until I watched Friday Night Lights. FNL was a show that focused on Dillion, Texas, a small town that centered around the high school football team. The mood of the town hinged on whether the team won the game Friday or not. To sum it up, this town had passion. It didn’t take long for my interest in football to grow.

While I didn’t hate football, I didn’t care for it. The only time I could tolerate the game was during the Super Bowl. I had no understanding of the game except when a touchdown was scored.

So when it came to me learning about football, I had to learn everything. It’s been two years and I still have more to learn. On that note, I would like to thank my wonderful boyfriend for continuing to explain the technical football stuff. This site would not be complete without him.
